Proper's white fish meal recipe is made with herring meal, as well as low glycemic index peas and beans. Large breed dog formulas have a moderate protein content and contain glucosamine, omega-6, and ProPath® mineral supplements to meet the dietary needs of large breed dogs.

The low glycemic index of dehulled oats, barley, peas, and white beans make them very interesting ingredients for this formula. In addition, oats and barley are an important source of vitamins, minerals, essential oils, fiber, and protein.

Boréal uses a unique source of meat protein in its Proper dog foods to facilitate digestion and reduce the risk of allergies. These formulas are naturally preserved and are free of potatoes, wheat, and corn.
